Unfortunately, performance of Dyco’s equipment was limited by the design of the cable conveyor system that created a production system. Too often, the conveyor contractor successfully connected individual pieces to each other, but failed to create a cable conveyor system. The result was a plant with equipment capable of meeting or exceeding production goals, yet which operated below specifications. The cable conveyor was designed to connect point A with point B, it could not function as an integral system. Dyco recognized that rapidly improving performance of bottle handling equipment required a new approach to cable conveyor design. Dyco became one of the first to view the cable conveyor as a system, and to integrate the system’s designers with fabrication, installation, and start-up, and to focus on systems when training. Dyco has a large variety of drive units available for any application. Stainless steel, aluminum, and steel are our options for construction materials. Other options are single wrap, double wrap, tall, short, with a variety of speeds for every option.
Dyco offers a wide variety of cable conveyor system track: adjustable through a range of 3" to 6.5", with or without dust v-cover single rail, double rail, stand up or lay down, from an 8oz. milk or juice bottle to a 35lb vegetable oil bottle. We have the right track for your application.
Dyco Rope Inclines are designed to be a cost effective solution to elevating square or rectangular empty bottles overhead. The incline uses the same methods and technology of our Cable Conveyors, but allows empty bottles to be raised overhead and out of the way.
Two sensors control the incline by preventing tip-overs that commonly occur at the bends of the incline. One sensor stops the incline if the downstream equipment is backed up, while the other sensor accumulates bottles at the bottom to ensure there is enough back pressure to prevent tipping over at the bottom bend. The variable speed motor helps tune the incline to match conveyor speeds.
Blowmolders and fillers benefit from a Rope Incline because they can increase floor space by elevating bottles to an overhead cable conveyor.
