About Dyco
In 1973, Dyco began solving complex handling tasks created by the application of blowmolded containers to an ever increasing number of products. And for over 30 years, Dyco has stayed focused on that challenge, growing in capabilities through each new project to become today’s trusted innovator, designer and installer of specialized systems to handle plastic containers.
Dyco evolved from the commercial blowmolding industry when a need was recognized for development of automated equipment to pack bottles for storage and shipment. Dyco’s first unit provided a two-tier bundle, using one operator to pack bottles into a plastic bag.
Almost concurrently with the development of the packer came the first semi-automated system to feed bundled bottles onto a filling line. Dyco’s initial debagger allowed one operator the means to strip the enclosing bag and automatically feed containers onto a conveyor. This early unit quickly found application in high speed filling lines with products ranging from chemicals to milk.
Dyco went on to develop the first Packers and Debaggers for single-tier bundles, which has become the industry standard for handling lightweight plastic containers in the dairy, juice and water industries.
Today, packing and unpacking containers remains a core aspect of Dyco’s product line, although current designs reflect three decades of experience and continuous improvement.
