Annealing (Download Brochure)

Dyco assisted Resin Manufactures and the Top 5 Dairies in the Industry with Annealing.

Dyco annealing units provide in-line curing of HDPE containers for volume stability, resulting in management of under/over filling while avoiding storage time and costs for unassisted bottle cure.

High-density polyethylene containers will shrink as much as 2.5% before they stabilize. The goal of the annealing process is to make containers that are the same size, whether they are filled immediately or later.

The Dyco Annealing Unit accelerates container shrinkage by applying infrared radiant heat, making the container soft and pliable, yet equal in stability and size to one with several days' natural cure.

Dyco, Inc. developed the annealing unit and process for HDPE Dairy containers. Other companies may sell annealing units, but have limited knowledge of the annealing process and lack the experience to properly implement the unit successfully. Dyco also offers a value-added training course on the comprehensive volumetric testing procedure.
