Overview

Dyco semi-automatic packers accumulate containers into an array and push the array into a bag which an operator places on a receiver. The operator then initiates a sealing mechanism which seals the containers in the bag.

Operation

Containers infeed on a table top conveyor or deadslide.

Containers are side-indexed into an accumulation chamber. Square and rectangular containers are accumulated in an in-line array; round containers are nested into the array with an innovative side pusher which changes shape for each row.

Once the accumulation chamber is filled, the containers are automatically pushed into a plastic bag.

The containers are sealed in a plastic bag with a heat-sealing process.

The bag insertion process involves an operator manually placing a plastic bag on guides and initiating the sealing process, once the containers are pushed into the bag.
