Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Engineering Department
  • Manage projects including resource planning, establishing deadlines and issue identification/resolution
  • Oversee new product development projects
  • Supervise product improvement projects
  • Manage engineering task assignments, ensure progress is made and give status updates
  • Work directly with Department Manager in day to day responsibilities
  • Schedule and review all machine and system tests prior to shipment
  • Attend/organize department meetings
  • Schedule Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Support Engineers, PLC Programmers, Robotic Programmers
  • Conduct cost analysis on each job both during and after job is complete
  • Assess part usage and determine manufacturing quantities and stocking levels
  • Review daily engineering hours on projects and jobs
  • Track sales of each machine, system or component

Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Management experience preferred not required
  • Engineering experience helpful but not required
  • 3-5 years’ experience minimum preferred
