Job Role and Description
Dyco is seeking a talented person to assist with the management of the Sales Department.  Candidates should be knowledgeable and self-driven with a strong desire to meet the needs of our customers and staff. This person will assist with the analysis of opportunities and strategies with the Sales team.   The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and prioritization skills as this individual will be managing multiple projects at any given time.  The ideal candidate for this position should have a desire to lead their own department in the future.
There may be up to 10% travel required with this position
This position is located out of our headquarters in Bloomsburg, PA.
 
 Responsibilities
  • Assist the Sales Department Manager as required to manage topics listed below as well as others as assigned.
  • Develop and support customer relationship building with the Sales team.
    • Reviewing Salesman monthly “customer calls” completion vs. goals
    • Reviewing Salesman monthly “customer visits” completion vs. goals
    • Being involved in Factory Acceptance Tests, customer lunches and dinners when appropriate to build relationships.
    • Actively involved with trade show event scheduling
      • Ensuring salesman are scheduling events
      • Potentially reaching out on your own to contacts you’ve developed relationships with to schedule meetings and dinners.
  • Work with Sales Team to meet all quotas and deadlines
    • Work to ensure Application quote deadlines will be met
      • Review resources/people vs. requirements/hours needed to complete the quote to ensure we have both the right individuals and necessary hours available to meet the quote deadline
    • Work to ensure Salesmen have plans in place to meet deadlines for quote distribution
      • Pricing/Strategy review Meetings scheduled with appropriate personnel to meet deadline(s).
  • Meetings with the sales team to review goals, opportunities and responsibilities
    • Meet with individuals to review their priorities, such as customer follow-ups, for timely resolution.
    • Meet with individuals to review opportunities and discuss strategies related to winning “real” jobs.
    • Follow up with individuals on completion of assignments coming out of these meetings.
  • Work and strive to meet company goals
    • Support the Salesman in hitting Bookings Goals
    • Support Salesman in making strategic decisions on their sales opportunities to help win orders.
  • Manage multiple projects based on time sensitivity and available team workload capacity.
    • Application and Technical Sales projects
      • Monitor individuals for completion
    • Effectively manage project prioritization and completion
      • Monitor project status
      • Monitor project resources
      • Both Applications based and Technical Salesman based
    • Thoroughly document various aspects of individual projects.
      • Individual assignments, emails and other communications when appropriate.
  • Continually analyze and improve QMS processes, procedures, flow charts, and forms.
Requirements:

  • Efficiently follow, enhance and further develop current Quality Management System processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office Suite

  • A desire to one-day lead their own department
Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management or related field
  • 0-5 years of experience
