Management Trainee

As a company that seeks to develop leaders from within, this position creates a tremendous opportunity to advance into future management roles as well as other leadership positions.  Dyco is seeking a talented individual to assist our managers in the day to day operations of our departments.  The ideal candidate will have a desire to oversee employees, excellent time management and prioritization skills as well as a desire to learn.  This individual should be able to work in a dynamic, fast paced work environment where every day presents a new challenge. This role has the potential to make an immediate impact through managing a team and improving our processes.  This position is located in our headquarters in Bloomsburg, PA.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with Department Manager in day to day responsibilities
  • Attend/organize department meetings
  • Coordinate employee work schedules
  • Review daily hours on projects and jobs for accuracy
  • Investigate, document and implement solutions to issues stemming from jobs, tasks or procedures
  • Attend Operations Meetings
  • Establish a project schedule
  • Receive, organize and distribute paperwork associated with work orders
  • Optimize flow of materials and parts through each work center
  • Manage projects including resource planning, establishing deadlines and issue identification/resolution
  • Supervise product improvement projects
  • Organize and lead special project assignments, ensure progress is made and give status updates
  • Conduct cost analysis on each job both during and after job is complete
  • Compare estimates vs. actuals to identify current or potential variances
  • Manage multiple projects based on time sensitivity and available team workload capacity.
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience:
